Garden of Life Raw Protein Energy

18 Oct

I love Garden of Life!!  In addition to the amazing real people behind the company, the products they provide the world with are filled with amazing USDA organic and non-GMO certified ingredients.

A little about the product: Garden of Life Raw Protein is vegan, certified organic, gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, soy free, no fillers, no artificial flavors or sweeteners, no preservatives, no pea protein.  The protein contains 17 grams protein per serving from a combination of organic raw sprouts to build and repair muscle, 105 milligrams “energy blend” (yerba mate + baobab fruit) for instant and sustainable energy, raw probiotic (lactobacillus acidophilus and bifidobacterium lactis) and enzyme (protease, bromelain, acid protease, and papain) blend, and vitamins A, D, E, K and B12.

And a little about the “energy blend” in the new Garden of Life  Whole Foods Market exclusive protein: Raw Protein Energy with Guayaki Brand Yerba Mate: yerba mate is made from the naturally caffeinated leaves of the South American holly tree; the leaves of the tree contain 24 vitamins and minerals, 15 amino acids, and antioxidants.  [source]

The best part?  All this for only 90 calories!  Which makes this protein perfect for weight loss.
