Autumn Spice Mix: Chai Spice

17 Sep

I love my food cravings in autumn… apple pie, spiced cakes, hearty soups, tea… anything warm and anything spiced! My favorite go-to autumn spices are always cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice! These spices to me can be added to just about anything, sweet and savory!! In addition to these single spices, I love the combinations too. But these (like pumpkin pie spice) can be a little expensive especially when you already have all the components on hand (or at least I always do :P)

This is my new go-to: Chai Spice!  It has the most amazing and complex flavor and scent!  Your tastebuds will go berzerk (:

This is perfect. I’ve been looking for something like this. Do you use whole cardamom or is there a powdered/ground up form?
