Ryan and I get so excited to cook for people it’s silly! Jake and Rose came over the other night for dinner and we went all out making garlic asparagus risotto and garlic bread! So great!
1 french baguette, halved lengthwise
3/4 cup Earth Balance butter
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oill
10 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
Fresh ground black pepper and salt, to taste
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
Preheat the oven to 425 F. Combine completely the Earth Balance, olive oil, garlic cloves, nutritional yeast and salt and pepper in a small bowl.
Spread the butter-oil mixture on to the halved baguette and place on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until browned.
Let cool about a minute then cut into the desired number of garlic bread squares.
